Senior MSSQL administrator

We´re currently looking for a Database Administrator/DBA who will be responsible for MSSQL instances on multiple customer environments.We are looking for a proactive, independent, and responsible candidate who is also a team player. You will be driving new technologies, making changes, deciding what is best suited to satisfy business demands. This position will require tight collaboration with many departments inside the company and with customers themselves.

MS SQL

  • supporting stability and performance of production databases
  • resolving technical issues related to database functionality
  • data replication, performance tuning, query optimization & index tuning
  • writing technical documentation and sharing knowledge with colleagues
  • participate in the on-call rotation for operational issue escalation (one week per month)

Požadujeme:

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with a focus on MSSQL
  • Scripting and automation skills
  • understanding of monitoring requirements
  • ability to troubleshoot methodically, identifying and applying fixes for known errors
  • good level of written and spoken English
